Zoom Islam is designed to be family friendly and suitable for ages 9 and up. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Service, we do not show behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal information. We encourage a parent or guardian to be involved in a child’s use of the app and to review this policy with them.

We collect only what we need to provide the Service:

• Account information. If you sign in, we receive your email address, and, when you use Google or Apple sign in, the basic profile information those providers share (such as name and email). Apple’s “Hide My Email” is supported.
• Your questions and messages. The text you type or speak in the chat is processed to generate a response. On our website, your conversation history is saved to your account so you can return to it. In the mobile apps, chat is handled without storing your conversation history on our servers.
• Location (optional). If you allow it, the app uses your device location on the device to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction. This is requested only when you use those features.
• Microphone and voice (optional). If you use voice input, speech is converted to text. Read aloud uses text to speech. We do not record or store your voice to identify you.
• Basic technical and safety data. To keep the Service reliable and safe, we process limited technical information (such as app and device type) and screen messages for harmful content.

• To answer your questions and provide the app’s features.
• To show accurate prayer times, the Qibla direction, and Qur’an content.
• To keep you signed in and to sync your website conversations.
• To keep the Service safe, prevent abuse, and fix problems.

We do not use your questions or messages to show you advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Answers are generated by an AI assistant. To help keep answers grounded, Qur’an verses are retrieved from a verified source rather than recited from memory, and a synthetic voice never recites the Qur’an; authentic recitation is played from a reciter instead. AI answers can still contain mistakes, so please verify important religious matters with a qualified scholar.

We share the limited data needed for these providers to perform their function on our behalf. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

• Anthropic: generates AI responses and screens content for safety.
• Microsoft Azure: hosting and text to speech.
• Aladhan: prayer time and Qibla calculations.
• Quran.com: Qur’an text, translations, and recitation audio.
• Google and Apple: optional sign in.
• Resend: sending sign in emails.

• You can delete individual conversations on the website at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at info@ibbinnovations.com.
• You can turn off location and microphone access at any time in your device settings.

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and access to personal information is limited. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if a problem occurs.

Zoom Islam is intended for a general, family audience aged 9 and up. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than is needed to use the app, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us information you would like removed, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; contact us to exercise them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
